The vision of the Upward Ministry is to sumbit to God's authority, change generations thru sports ministry and recognize that Every Child Is A Winner!   Upward promotes: 1) Salvation by sharing the love of Jesus Christ with everyone involved in the ministry  2) Character by helping every child grow as Jesus did - spiritually, physically, mentally and socially  3) Self-esteem by helping every child grow in their understanding and enjoyment of sports.

Upward is an exciting sports program for both boys and girls, K-6th grade! We have leagues in both basketball and cheerleading. We provide an equal opportunity for playing time and skill improvement.  Practice is once a week througout the season and games are on Fridays and Saturdays in January and February. Registration is $65 and includes the uniform, a Bible, a music CD and many other fun items.

3.  Jim & Gina Powers are providing a way for you to enjoy & purchase Game Day photos of your child in action! Look for the LBC Gallery on www.powersshots.com to see the pictures.  You will be able to purchase these photos (in a variety of sizes) and have them sent directly to your home. 

4.  Each week, the computer in the Family Life Center lobby ran a slideshow of the prior week's photos.  We will be placing these pictures on the www.powersshots.com website.  They will be identified as the FLC lobby PC photos.  THANK YOU!
